Bluebells coming in to flower

A spring bimble from Balcombe to Haywards Heath via the valley of the Sussex Ouse, with its famous railway viaduct on the London to Brighton mainline. The viaduct was completed in 1842 using bricks mainly imported by boat up the river Ouse; these days, the little river is more suitable for a game of Pooh-sticks. The woods are beginning to come alive after winter with the blue fuzz of Bluebells coming in to flower. The road paralleling my route is a favourite for rallies, including vintage motorcycles, this spectacular outfit is a Panther Model 100 single cylinder four stroke British motorcycle (598cc) with Steib sidecar.
