Paper postcards are out of fashion so here are my photos with some reminders of a style we have been missing. St Ives is one of the few places in the UK where picture postcards on paper are still on sale in any quantity or quality. Postcards are - to my eye - a nice little genre, partly remembering friends and family on holiday, partly showboating an idealised version of the resort. Something we've abandoned in the rush to phone cameras and personalised reality.
