My photographs of and around Ullswater from a sunny September weekend based in Glenridding. This beautiful area is heavy with the footprints of J.M.W. Turner (artist), William Wordsworth (poet), A.W. (Alfred Wainwright) describes numerous fell-walking routes and even Donald Campbell gained his first world water speed record, 325.60 km/h, on these waters in 1955; there’s now an 8 km/h water speed limit.
