Motorfest 2019, Seaford’s car and motorbike show
Not quite Glastonbury, and probably not as eco-friendly, this is Motorfest 2019, Seaford’s car and motorbike show in Martello Fields, Seaford. There are so many garages in Sussex which secretly host a classic sportscar or motorbike, there are a number of events like this where they come out for some sunshine and fresh air. I was interested to see what you do with a classic car once you’ve polished it up and parked it at the show, this usually involves deckchairs and maybe a picnic hamper and cool box. Then I enjoyed an informative chat with some riders from the Trail Riders Fellowship and picked up some tips. Thanks Mike and Chris, and especially Lew, who showed me how to stand on the pegs of his KTM 350.
Always a pleasure to see and hear running one of what appears to be the legendary Barrie Sheene’s race bikes, this one’s a Suzuki Dunstall GS1000CS.
I was told Erupted is the name of the band, they were playing rock classics.
