Arriving in to London’s Heathrow airport one is sometimes treated to a fantastic show out of the cabin windows; it’s a two-edge sword though, I see the same planes from my bathroom window and often they wake me up first thing in the morning.
Since Google Earth came along, and more recently with personal drones, it’s been easy to forgot about any other aerial photography but it’s still rewarding, can be beautiful and gives a very different perspective to our world compared with ground-based photography. And a photographic challenge to do better with the situation than the tourists probably do with the camera on their phone.
