Here's a postcard from last weekend in the South of England. I was with my friend Wolf from Den Haag - we found a hotel in the centre of Winchester with a nice calm garden.
The National Trust had a log fire going in TE Lawrence's cottage in the woods (that I think was also his playroom) even though it was the hottest day of the year!
Shorts-only hiking still rules - OK!
