The high mountains revealed in the strong light of the midsummer sun as the last of the spring storms leaves the air clear.
These are pictures from my motorbike trip around Mont Blanc, including Saint-Gervais (F), Chamonix (F), Haslital (CH), the Grimsel and Furka passes either side of the Rhône glacier (CH), the Grand St. Bernard pass (CH/I) and the col du Galibier with the Meije glacier(F).
