My sunny afternoon ride with stunning views of classic Provence rocks after an dawn view of the moon setting over London.
Moonset at dawn over West London as the plane takes off from Heathrow. The cloud cleared further south and (after a rest) I’m once more on my RR on the road to the Col de l’Espigoulier (723 m.) in the gentle October sunshine.
Stunning views towards Mont Sainte-Victoire (1011 m.) and a rapidly increasing number of riders enjoying the sunshine and the views from the Col back down to Marseille. Traditionally, that's the Hunters' Moon setting, indicating the start of the hunting season at the end of summer and after the harvest but I just like the colours!
