Pinzolo has a connection with the motorbike racer Valentino Rossi but he wasn’t in town, being busy securing pole position for the Italian GP at Mugello.
Good weather for waterfalls isn’t necessarily good to see the mountain peaks so unfortunately the famous skyline of Dolomitic limestone at Madonna di Campiglio was clouded in, a disappointment but maybe less so than trekking to (not) see Torres del Paine, the similar skyline in the southern Andes that is even less often clear of clouds.
