Low Water on the Thames at Palace Wharf, Fulham
The Palace Wharf warehouse bears the date 1907, but the pier has been derelict since the 1970s.
The blue plaque erected by the Hammersmith and Fulham Historic Building Group states that For many years the wharf was the Rathbone Works’ of fibrous plaster firm George Jackson and Sons, founded in Rathbone Place off Oxford Street in the early 19th century, Jacksons’ made the new plasterwork for Hammersmith’s rebuilt Lyric Theatre.
The warehouse is now apartments and flats.
