Devilish dawn over Marseille

“Can you ride a motorbike?” said the Devil, then he handed me the key to a 2019 Fireblade and sent me out for the day to play in the Alpes-de-Haut-Provence. That’s a great bike, seemingly easy to ride but devilishly rewarding if you push it, even more so when you hang off. Mind you it nutted me several times. Far too much power for the road (Power Mode 1) even out on the long clear roads around the Lac de Sainte-Croix or in the twisty zigzags going in to the Grand Canyon du Verdon. I didn’t try the Wheelie Control, but I could die for the responsive electronic throttle.
The pact with the Tempter was that I had to hand the key back once the service was completed on my own bike (Merci Phillipe), but that wasn’t until after I’d enjoyed a great day’s sport on the CBR1000RR-2019.
The colours of the devil are of course red and black...
Merci à tous et à toutes de Chomat Moto, Manosque.
