Christmas lunch with AMA Provence in a brasserie in Salon-de-Provence.
Sixteen Amaïstes just from Marseille and around for our AMA GSE Provence Repas de Noël in an upstairs room in a brasserie near the Fontaine Moussue in Salon-de-Provence, a rock spring covered in green mosses and grasses and well-known to us as the departure point of many AMA rides.
Firstly greetings and apéritifs, then sitting down to a Salade de Chève Chaude, the goats cheese fried in breadcrumbs. Then a choice of Coquelet rôti gratin dauphinois or Pot au feu fait maison. The dessert was a Flan de pommes Fines, again fait maison, made in-house. Then the fortune chocolates, wrapped with printed historic French proverbs, some of which caused great amusement by their political non-correctness.
