I had a good bike ride out to Norfolk yesterday; pleasant weather, not much pollen so nice to get to some clear roads here in the UK.

The bunker is now unsecured and pretty much derelict but the location is as attractive as ever, with its peculiar mix of birds singing and the roar from military jets or helicopters from the bases and training areas nearby. The trees which Terry helped plant have grown up well.

I was told that the farmer who owned the surrounding farm land went bankrupt three years  ago; he was blocking legitimising vehicle access to the bunker site and any development. Shame for him and his workers but nice that the area no longer smells of goose poo.
