Fledgling Blue Tit taking its first bath in my patio bird-bath. Parents not far away.
Great Tit at my garden bird-bath.
Goldfinch
Great to see a fledgling, even if only one so far. I’ve been feeding the garden birds all winter, as usual. But the magpies have been circling around looking for prey for a couple days now. Fingers crossed for the new birds.
Also a Goldfinch: I haven’t seen any finches here for several years. It’s seeming that the birdlife is thriving in breadth of species and as well as population numbers whilst the humans and the traffic are about much less due to the lockdown..
