Today I've been up with the Norse gods on the summits of Spidean Cóinach (764 m.), one of the three peaks of the mountain known as Quinag. There’s a fantastic panoramic view of everywhere I've been this past week. Quinag is widely regarded as a great hike. There’s a built trail for the baggers of Corbett peaks then it’s a bit of a scramble but I spent some time simply looking, tracing the road and then making an attempt at interpreting the geology. That puzzle was officially cracked over a century ago and there’s a handy interpretation trail at Knockan Crag nearby but it's still great to see the topography laid out in front of your boots and join up the pieces.
